One Church with Many Expressions

We are a Community of Believers who are committed to making disciples and starting simple expressions of Church in the places where people already do life. This includes a myriad of rhythms of being church together from simple churches, prayer groups, and bible studies to worship nights and potlucks. As new expressions and rhythms form, we will update this page, inviting you to celebrate the ever-expanding Kingdom AND to join us as we follow Jesus together.

Collective Rhythms @ the HUB:

Fall 2022

Sunday Morning Prayer

10:30 AM @ the HUB

A small group of believers meets every Sunday Morning to connect with and press in together in prayer. This time is open to anyone and everyone.

Wednesday Morning Prayer & Worship

7:30-9 AM @ the HUB

This is a weekly time to rest in the presence of the Lord, make space for listening prayer, and worship the Lord simply because He is worthy of our time and attention. This time is open to anyone and everyone!

Monthly "Buy Oil" Worship Nights

2nd Saturday of the Month, 6-8 PM @ the HUB

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a parable that invites us to "buy oil" and be ready for His return. That is the inspiration and heartbeat for these monthly collective worship times. We invite our Church & friends from other churches around the region to join us as we seek the face of God and join the angels as they cry out "Worthy, Worthy, Worthy."

Monthly Family Gatherings & Potlucks

Last Sunday of the Month, 10:30 AM @ the HUB

This is a weekly time to rest in the presence of the Lord, make space for listening prayer, and minister to the Lord (Acts 13) simply because He is worthy of our time and attention. This time is open to anyone and everyone!

Smaller Expressions of Church:

Fall 2022

Simple Churches

various meetings

What are Simple Churches? We dive more into that question here.

All of our expressions of church are in a process of maturity and growth, so while some are fully functioning simple churches that are welcoming new people, others are still in the process of getting there. Here is a list of those that are currently meeting: (TBA)

1st & 3rd Saturdays

5:30 PM @ the Lists (West Middlesex)

Dinner followed by Worship, Scripture, Testimonies, & Prayer.

If interested in joining, contact Micah List at 603-512-1749.

Saturdays

7 PM @ the Guyscraper (Grove City)

Currently reading through Ephesians together.

If you're interested in joining, contact Jess Packer at 412-398-5481.

Tuesdays

6 PM @ the Crouses' (Grove City)

Current primary focus on fellowship & reading through Ecclesiastes.

If you're interested in joining, contact Katy Westra at 910-619-9491.

Bible & Book Studies

various meetings

Sometimes people want to meet to just discuss Scripture or other books, rather than within the full context of a Simple Church. Here are some of the groups currently meeting:

Get Your Life Back: Everyday Practices in a World Gone Mad

by John Eldridge

7:00 PM on Tuesdays @ the Weismans' House (New Wilmington)

Beginning in October, the group will meet for approx. 8 weeks. Limited to 8-10 people. If interested, call Angie (724-967-2723) or John Weisman (330-442-7606).

Prayer Groups

various meetings

We are a church that is committed to hearing from the Lord and partnering with Him in prayer together.  We pray often and in various settings - consistent groups and times can be found here.

Sunday Mornings - see above!

House Worship Gatherings

various meetings

We don't have any consistent rhythms of house worship, but we have a high value for worshipping together in our homes, in parks, on the street...wherever we would already be.  We love seeing worship, both planned and spontaneous, break out in the places we live everyday life.
