Prayer Updates
3/17 - Practical Immediate Needs:
Hey church family,
As you know, last week was difficult for many people in our community and there is a lot of practical support needed within our spiritual family this week, especially Monday (tomorrow), Tuesday, and Friday. Please read the needs below and respond to the text messages or Katy ASAP if you are able to help meet these needs. There is also a link to sign-up to help Caggianos with meals below.
1) Doug & Jaimie - Doug's stents procedure went well! He is at home recovering now. Practically, there are 2 ways the Caggianos need our support right now. They need help with Ava twice this week, as well as help with meals. We have set up a meal train for them for the next 2 weeks. Please bring a meal, if you are able! If you are able to cook, but unable to deliver or vice versa, let us know and we can try to help coordinate that. You can sign up here.
Doug will be home with Ava during the times they need assistance with her, however due to his recovery, he is limited in his ability to get her ready for daycare, put her bed, etc. They need help with Ava for the following times:
Tuesday Morning - 6:15 - 8:30 AM - COVERED
Friday Evening - 6 - 9:30ish PM - NEEDED
2) Becky has very severe shingles and needs rides to two different doctors appointments TOMORROW, Monday 3/20.
8 AM for a 9 AM appointment in Cranberry (north) - RIDE COVERED
11:45 AM for a 1 PM appointment in Cranberry Township (south) - RIDE NEEDED
3/16 - Update from Yesterday's Prayer Requests:
Dear Family and Friends,
Please take a few minutes to read and pray through these bullet points.
1) Doug and Jaimie - Doug had the heart catheterization today and they are awaiting details about next steps in his care. (We will send out an update when we have one.) I just spoke with Doug and he is continuing to focus on the promises of God over his life and family in the midst of some uncertainty. It looks like there will be a need to come around the Caggiano family and help them in some practical ways as we head into next week. This will include people who could help out with Ava. We will provide more details as we have them. Please look at your schedules and be praying about how you maybe able to help.
2) Funeral Arrangements for Jan Erb - I got word from John and Janeen today that there will be visitation hours from 5- 7 PM, this Friday (3/17) at Smith Funeral Home in New Wilmington & from 10 - 11 AM on Saturday (3/18) at Living Word Church (formerly Victory Christian Center at New Wilmington). The funeral will be from 11 - noon with lunch following the service. Please be praying for the John and Janeen, Julie and for the rest of the family. We will let you know if there is anything that we can do to love/serve them.
3) Due to the visitation hours for Jan, we will be cancelling the Buy Oil worship night for this Friday. We will post the schedule for April worship as soon as we can.
Thanks again for praying and helping serve each other in this time,
Brad

Doug Caggiano has been experiencing some discomfort and went in today to get things checked out. After doing some tests, the doctors are planning to do a heart catheterization tomorrow. He is currently in the hospital and I was able to talk and pray w him today.
He is believing in the promises of God over his body and their family. Let’s join him in these prayers, and also let’s be praying for Jaimie and Ava.
We will keep you posted on this.

PRAYER UPDATE // (2 of 2)
I received a message this afternoon that Jan Erb went to be with Jesus around 330 today. Jan and her husband, Jim, we’re an amazing part of the family of God in our region. God use them to pioneer an amazing movement in Mercer County during the Jesus movement, they later planted Living Word Church and oversaw a network of churches, ministries and missionaries around the world.
To our AOX family, they became grandparents that prayed for us, supported us and welcomed us into their home. While we are saddened by her passing, we are grateful that she has gone to be home with Jesus.
Please be praying for John and Janeen and the rest of the family. We will keep you posted as to the arrangements as soon as we have details.
